Fall Leaves in Michigan

Just had to post some pics of our trees in their fall color. We have had a lot of cloudy, rainy days lately but yesterday was a beautify sunny day. Really need this sun to see the best color. These pictures were taken in a park near my house.

Oh what beautiful colors -- it could almost make your eye hurt, they are so intense.

I have been away and am finally getting caught up with posts. Looks like you saw some wonderful things on your trip and brought home fun souvenirs, too.

It is funny how we in the US think our history is so old, when we are really a youthful country.

Fantastic colours - here the leaves haven't started to 'turn' properly yet. I love Austria so I wish I could have been there with you too! We have been there on walking holidays in the summer and the wildflowers on the mountains are just fabulous. Thanks for sharing your photographs.

Oh WOW! Here in Colorado our fall color is yellow (aspen gold). Very rarely do we get red. Your photos are so vibrant!

Marvelous colors Katie - thanks so much for posting these pictures! We never get that much color in one spot around here - comes from living in the "evergreen" state!

Hi Katie, your leaf pictures are just lovely...you have all the glowing reds that are missing here in WI this year!!!
And they are spectacular!
After the high winds of Saturday, we have almost nothing left on our trees. I guess autumn was a short one this year..*VBS* Good to see you back in Michigan, Hugs, Finn

Wonderful colors! They haven't really started here in north Georgia, but it is 42 degrees here this morning, so not much longer!
