Tumblings Blocks

I think this is the most outstanding quilt I have ever seen. I could look at it for hours. So big. So effective. Great quilting. I was told that two friends each made two blocks each and exchanged them. They must be close friends to have done this so well. Picture can't do justice. I took several close up pics to show it better.

Very intriguing use of 9 patches...and very effective. Thanks for sharing Katie...have a great weekend. Stay warm...very cold are moving your way...our area was 43 degrees this a.m. at 7 Hugs, Finn
Gorgeous!
oh, I like that one too! I would be wondering just how they pieced it. Someone gave me a pile of freezer paper backed diamonds that should do this but I have not much clue about them let along something that is pieced. Very nice!
Oh it utterly gorgeous! Like you said it's something to look at for hours!
I love these tumbling blocks! An optical illusion in fabric.
