Florida
Since some trees cannot get their roots deep into the ground, it is not unusual for them to spread out. There are so many plants with such pretty flowers. To make a path, they sometimes use shells rather than gravel. Interesting place, huh?
What a great picture of that tree Katie! Love it, never having seen anything like that before. Great shirt you took with you on your visit, and your redwork is just wonderful. What will the pinwheels grow up to be?? Are these scraps at play?? Orphans to be?? Inquiring minds need to know! Hugs, Finn

I remember seeing trees with root systems like this in Hawaii - always fun to look at.
