Stars

The first quilt is titled Lumiosity Stars and the second is Batik Sedona Star. Both were made and quilted by John Putnam. He is an excellent long arm quilter and what an eye for color and design.

Quilters

Quilting crosses genders, generations, races, nationalities and faiths. People of all income levels, occupatons and abilities quilt. Quilts are made to help people through the joyous and sad times. Today on 9/11 I think of all the quilts made to honor the people who died and also for the quilts given to their families to wrap themselves in and, in so doing, to feel the hug and comfort sent by the quilter.

What beautiful quilts and a beautiful sentiment, too. Thank you.

Hi Katie, *VBS* What wonderful star quilts you've been posting the past couple of days.

I think that very top one might be a stack and whack to get that look?? I especially like the one that has the 9 patches and stars...but then I love the Star of Wonder also. I've always wanted to do one of those where there is a stack of Sawtooth stars with in a sawtooth star. Maybe this winter..*VBS* hugs, Finn
