Space Quilt
Still plugging along with my wonky letters for my space quilt. It sure takes a long time to do these letters. I must be doing something to make it more difficult. But I do like the results. Although the pics don't show it, all have the same background. Each word is separate; I just laid them on top of each other. I'm trying to use prime colors but discovered my stash doesn't have many. No yellow or purple and not sure of the pink and orange I have. Guess I may have to visit the quilt shop. Atlantis is black and Gemini is brown. Challenger is really a true green. I also think I need a light green. I may have to buy a small box of crayons and match to them. I found some fabric with rockets and space ships on line but for some reason my order didn't go thu and I must try again. No, I don't know how I will design the quilt. I just jumped in and started. Any suggestions? It is to celebrate 50 years in space this year. Yes, I will be using some names from other countries. I just haven't started that list yet.

I have no idea why those three words highlighted and can't get rid of it. Someone sending me a message?

Looks like a lot of fun - I'm going to have to give those letters a try one of these days.

Oh Katie, these are FABULOUS. I mean it. You are doing something to make it more "difficult" but it's also adding so much more personality. You're rounding off your letters. I love the effect. You're also doing lots of wonderful angles and lots of times that means more work too. It is all worth it. These are incredible. Thanks for letting me know I needed to come visit.

Wow -- I love your letters! I especially love the curvy line effect. Really cool. :)
