Bonnet Girls

This is a pic of what the Bonnet Girls are supposed to look like according to the directions. Really wonderful work. I took this pic at a quilt show. Mine are the Calender Girls but same idea. Only I have given mine depth.

I've been reading blogs about so many people playing and I was so jealous. So I swept my sewing room floor and sewed the scraps any old way. Kind of like it. It is all done on the machine. Should I add some beads and/or buttons? I have more scraps. Click to enlarge.

Wow - Katie, that piece looks like a lot of fun. Of course I think you should embellish away *s*

This is great fun Katie!! You are right one..just go where the spirit moves you..embellish or not with whatever strikes your fancy...that the true joy in playing!
Love the calendar girls too...I hope you do the 12 months worth, it will be a lovely quilt I think. Something a granddaughter would love to have someday. Hugs, Finn *VBS*
