Brown and Green

I've been playing with brown. The first two pics are some sample blocks in my UFO pile in Michigan. I brought them and a pile of brown and green fabric down to FL. I found a pattern that I thought I 'd like but have abandoned it already. Now I'm just making whatever.

I went to a local quilt shop today and signed up for a class on Friday. They have some neat classes but not many in November and December. I got here early enough this year to be able to take one of them. It is called "twosey-foursey" by Cathy Wierzbicki herself. I've never taken a class from a published author before. I bought a bunch of quarter yard cuts of fabric for it. I'll try to show them tomorrow.

I like your selection of browns and greens -- and will enjoy seeing what it becomes. I hope you have a terrific time at your class. It's so fun to feel like you are rubbing elbows with the famous *s*
