Sewing Room Quilt
Today I bound a quilt that has been waiting to be finished for a while. I bought the fabrics in Florida during the winter of 2003-4 and brought them back to Michigan. I liked them and used a few small pieces. I thought I'd use them each separately but got an inspiration to use all of them together when I saw a quilt in the May 2005 Quilt Almanac magazine.
It was called Conzetta's Courtyard and was not about the pattern but about Welsh quilting. What I loved was the pattern.
This is what a block looks like.
More in the next blog.
