Rest of Saga pics (I goofed. Start with next post.)

At least I knew to use a busy fabric on the back to hide my stitches.

looks like how I did my first batch of stippling... Still kinda like the effect of the triangles...

I think you did a nice job. (I send most of mine out, so I have no advice...)

I think it looks just fine. We often tend to be so critical of our own work. I do use the quilters gloves and and like them. I have tried other things - the paddles you hold onto and just the little finger thingys. I go back to the gloves each time. I don't like that I have to take them off to change thread or bobbin *that's why I kept trying other products* but it's just the nature of the beast.

i use quilters gloves they help. have you tried spray basting with 505?? i know some people don't like it but i find it helps hold things together better than pins. your quilt does look good and good idea using the busy background. keep practicing.. it will get easier.

I mentioned this once on someones blog. I thought my stitches were horrid at first, (and they probably were) but I saw a book from a well known designer and fabric maker and her stitches were WORSE! And she had a book out!

You will get better. You will relax as you do more and move slower and sew faster. Make sure you use small pins...no more than size 1 or about 1" and make sure you put one in every 3 to 4"'s. I hold my thumb and first finger out and put my thumb on a pin and make sure I have another that the first finger can touch! Or trart in the center and radiate the lines out and keep pinning!! Smooth out the bottom and then let it rip!!

As long as they stay together, it's a SUCCESS!!!
