Shipshewana
Yesterday I went to Shipshewana, IN with my local Senior Center. I try to go once a year. This is an Amish community. Wonderful quilts, great food, very nice people, super day. The first two pictures are from a shop that has lots of old quilts and other old things. Sorry I didn't get the name of it. Don't you just love the blue and red one? Is it a bow tie? I didn't get any info on it. Sorry. The fabric in the bottom pic looked the same as in my old one. It was labled as Irish Chain, c. 1910, Bluffton, IN, cost $325.
