Thanks for all the great ideas for my first quilting the quilt adventure. You are all the best. I am cutting backing and batting and sewing blocks together now. Anxious to give it a try.
My Yard The weeds were
horrendous. Jeff worked six hours and I worked four hours on my yard last Saturday. This part, at least, is looking much better.Today
I'm off for my hour (plus, plus) in my kitchen and laundry. Then errends and voting. Early to bed to be ready for an early
morning start on an adventure tomorrow. Details on Thursday.

What a lovely yard you have. I hope to have something even half that nice when I'm retired and actually have time to take care of it. (At least I HOPE to have time!)
Things are looking good Katie..*VBS* Glad you got the help you needed and are ready to jump in. I'll be curious how it goes for you. I'm thinking of doing the same thing...at least giving it a try. Sounds like a person could get some scrap batting used that way too. Hugs, Finn
