Amish Quilt Shop
I laughed out loud at this sign in front of Little Helpers Quilt Shop in Shipshewana, IN. It is full of quilts made by the Amish women. Some are in the traditional Amish colors and other are all colors. I just loved all of them and took a lot of pics. Enjoy.

I have all the prep done to machine quilt my quilt. Soon.

Keep the photos coming!

One of the best parts about going to Lancaster, PA (far closer for me) is the free quilt show... :o)

In your area do the Amish also do applique where they use any calico for flowers instead of trying to make them look real?

It is not "Authentic Amish" style, but it sure is Amish style - if that makes sense...

The star quilt is wonderful. I love quilts with black backgrounds. THe colors on that one are great.
