Getting to Know Us
I thought I'd throw out some questions and see what answers we have.

What food do you like to eat/drink with another food?
My DB in L used to eat mustard and peanut butter sandwiches. Yuk.
My dad put alternating layers of applesauce and torn up fresh white bread in a glass and then filled it with milk. He ate this on Sunday evenings. It is good and I eat it too, but I add a little sugar.
I always drink coke with pizza and iced tea with fried fish.

This might be a little weird but we used to eat peanut butter and pickle sandwiches when I was a kid---but they had to be bread and butter chips or grandma's homemade lime pickles. I rarely do that now but sometimes peanut butter and bananas.

I seldom drink milk but I do like it with chili or stew. You gotta have cola with pizza!

This is a fun idea..I'll play along..*S* For a summer sandwich, I like peanut butter on one slice, Miracle Whip on the other, and sliced radishes inbetween. With salt and pepper of course..*S*Sandwiches are summer fare for me...winter brings homemade soup.
Also love fresh tomato sandwiches on toast...great summer lunch.
With pizza I like a soda..usually Diet Pepsi. With fried fish(if eaten out) I ususally have my ice water.
I don't really like anything like the bread or crackers with milk and sugar, altho baked bread pudding(or rice pudding) I love.
My best dessert is fresh rhubarb pie still warm, with ice cream..*VBS*

Nobody can figure this out but I don't drink anything with my food. It just sits there.
I'm very traditional-my favorite lunch is open faced peanut butter and marmalade sandwiches.

I'll have to pay closer attention to this one... I don't know? Although I drink far too much diet cola - even with cereal that has milk.

Your question just made me smile ... I like to drink buttermilk, but only if it has been salted and peppered. Also we make a burrito but use mayonaise instead of sour cream (shhh -- don't tell anyone, they'll kick me out of California.) My husband puts peanut butter and maple syrup on pancakes and I won't use anything but plain butter and sit far away from him. Okay, now I'm just feeling eccentric, so I'll stop here
