Small Scrapy Blocks
I have 108 of the 6 1/2 " blocks done. Next I will make larger blocks of nine of the smaller ones. I sure used a lot of thread and dulled a rotary blade. This is my favorite cutter. It is an Olfa. All I had were some generic blades and I'm not too happy with them. Below is a pic of my favorite ruler. It is covered with bits of stick on sand paper. The ruler never moves when cutting. I wouldn't have a ruler without it. I have problems seeing gold numbers and lines. This ruler is 19" x 7" and the whole thing has eighth inch lines. So easy to read. The dark line on one end and side (bottom of pic) makes the cut just a tiny tiny (1/16) bit more. That is why there are numbers with plus signs. It is made by Judy Marten. I carry it back and forth to FL and use it much more than any other ruler.
